今朝、自宅近くの狭くて急な坂道を、自転車で猛スピードでおりていたら、ブレーキがかからなくなり、激しく転倒してしまいました。 電柱にぶつけて、何とか自転車を止めました。左手首に激痛がはしり、そのまま救急病院へ。足は大丈夫そうで何とか歩けました。レントゲン検査で、左手首を骨折している事がわかりました。幸い、ギリギリ手術を免れたそうです。全治、2か月くらいとの事でした。 よ〜く考えたら、誰もまき込む事なく、車道の手前で自転車を止める事が出来たので感謝しかありません。本当に怖かったです。と、いうわけで、年末は、とても残念ながら、お料理もお掃除もできません。 しばらく、お仕事に集中します(^^)
お仕事関係の皆様、今朝は、ご心配をおかけして申し訳ございませんでした。 ネイティブの先生からも励ましメールが。これからは、自転車の整備を怠らないよう肝に銘じました。

読書の秋
先日、ニュースを見ていて、日本の平均賃金が先進国の中でもかなり低くなっている事に憤りを感じました。日本には、世界を代表する企業/技術がたくさん集積しているのに、人口の大半を占める中間層の生活が年々厳しくなっているのは、何故か？ 富の分配がフェアーになされているのか？ 国民の毎日の生活が厳しい状態にある事にもかかわらず、政府は2%のインフレ政策を試みてみたり… 今年の読書の秋は、この2冊の本を中古で買って（笑）読んでみました。とても、考えさせられました。
According to a recent news program, the middle class in Japan, numerically the largest portion of workers, is reported to have one of the lowest average wages among developed countries in the world. Despite Japan’s wealth of companies/technologies, it is becoming increasingly difficult for middle class families in Japan to make ends meet. Is this due to unfair distribution of income among the social classes? Given the circumstances, recent government measures designed to grow the economy by 2% （inflation) make no sense unless serious efforts are also made to strenghen the purchasing power of the middle class. Otherwise, this fall was perfect for reading (読書の秋). Very enjoyable!
