The Live stared with “Amazing Grace” by Chiaki Fujimoto (thank you Chiaki for accepting my special request.), duet (w/Robert Ahad Thank you, Robert, as always, for your wonderful performance), and dancing (Emmy Nishida. Thank you, Emmy-san for making the event all the more enjoyable!)… My special thanks go to Tomoyo Takemoto and Kobe Women’s Club for giving us such a wonderful opportunity! And, of course, to Lorna Cifra, for her AMAZING performance!!! Wow!!!

“令和”がどのように英語で伝えられているのか興味深く読みました。 徳川時代に“令徳”という案があったそうですが、”令”という文字が、命令するという意味にとらえられてしまいがちで却下された事があるそうです。 ”和”という字が使われてとても嬉しく思います。”和の精神”を尊ぶ国に生まれてよかったと痛感。 ”令和”…気品のある響きにまけないよう、気持ちを引き締めて、新しい時代を迎えたいと思います。
