先日、フランス語の先生が、冷蔵庫などで使う密閉食品保存容器の事を、一般的にTupperwareと呼ぶという話しをされていて、そう思えば、ひと昔前、”タッパーに入れておくね〜”など、日本語でも使っていたな〜と納得。たしか、当時、ホームパーティー商法の走りだったような…. 若〜い生徒さん達には、タッパーウエアの事が伝わらず、generation gapを感じました(笑） 英語では、通常、”food containers”を使います。 タッパーについて、ググッてみました。
