2023年を振り返り…
今年も残すところ、あと少しとなりました。
今年は、 “Oxbridge Summer Camp “や “英語でボランティア”など、コロナ禍で休止していた活動を再開する事ができ、やっと長いトンネルを抜け、光が差してきたように感じました。
私自身にとっては、思いもかけない事に、健康の大切さを痛感した一年になりました。 しばらくお休みが続いてしまいましたが、全面的にサポートしてくださいました先生方、生徒の皆々様方に、この場を借りまして、心より感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました！ 来年も引き続き、英会話サロンでは、様々な話題を通じて、英語を学ぶ/使う楽しさを皆様と共有できますよう、スタッフ一同、真摯に取り組んでまいる所存です。 ご意見、ご希望などございましたら、ぜひ、お聞かせくださいませ。 また、英検/TOEICのクラスでは、読む/聞く/書く/話す演習を繰り返し、総合的な英語力の向上を目指します。”継続は力なり” 今後ともどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。 2024年が、皆々様にとって、笑顔と希望に満ちた素晴らしい一年になりますように！
The year 2023 will soon come to an end in a desperate search for peace in many corners of the world. Let me take a moment to look back at the year. After the prolonged COVID pandemic, things are getting back to normal and I am particularly glad to be able to resume “Oxbridge Summer Camp” and volunteer activities at Kobe Kaisei Hospital after a four year hiatus, even on a smaller scale. As for myself, unexpectedly, I have realized the importance of “health” this year. Thank you very much for your unwavering support and encouragement during my hospitalization. I feel very fortunate and thankful to have fully recovered and resumed working without difficulty. Please rest assured that we will continue our commitment to making our English Salon a perfect venue for students using English as a tool of actual communication in discussing topical issues of interest. (Any advice and/or requests in this connection are highly appreciated.) Further, if you are interested in strengthening basic skills, i.e., reading/listening/writing/ speaking, please consider taking our Eiken/TOEIC classes. “Practice makes perfect.” Let’s make it happen!
