In response to the serious shortage of labor, due to the rapid advancement of aging society, the government is now considering accepting more foreign laborers in new fields (so called blue collar) such as construction, farming, elderly care, airport services, etc. To accommodate newcomers, improving such infrastructure for newcomers as education for their family members, social security, health insurance, and pensions are seen as top priority.
President Trump is vowing to sign an executive order that would seek to end the right to U. S. citizenship for children born in the United States to noncitizens. This involves the amendment of the U.S. Constitution (Article 14) and will be difficult to be proceeded. In view of the fact that, the number of Chinese mothers who visit the U. S. to give birth to babies to have them become American citizens (babies-citizens) is on the increase, I am becoming concerned about demographic structure of the U.S. in the future. I hope that they will find the best solution, for everyone concerned, to this issue. https://wapo.st/2qi5o59?tid=ss_fb-amp
